Show me the money

I stumbled across an interesting challenge today. I Will Teach You To Be Rich has started the Save $1,000 in 30 Days Challenge

It looks like some of it won't apply to us - Tip #1 is pack lunches for the rest of the week. Not applicable, because we already eat at home. Tip #2 is Turn your thermostat down 3 degrees. Again, not applicable because we haven't turned our thermostat on yet. (And hopefully won't until next summer when I bask in the glory that is having central air in Mississippi in the summer.) But! Tip #3 is sell something on eBay today, and that I can do. Now I just have to find something to sell...

Anyway, I figured what the heck! What is the worst that can happen? I only save $500? $100? Either way, I am in.
